How do you transfer a phone call on a typical office phone to a phone in another room (same kind)?

If I call someone, and I need to transfer the call to the same kind of phone, but in another room, how do I do that? It’s a typical office phone. It has hold, transfer, flash, intercom, and conference buttons. Don’t know how to work them!

If it has all the buttons as you specified, in most cases you would press transfer which would temporarily put the person you are speaking with on hold. Dial the extension you which to transfer the customer to, then press transfer again. That is transfer/dial extension/ transfer again. Otherwise go to www.themanuals.com and look up the specific model number of the phone you are using and check that.
